About the Fort Hood Team

United K9 Academy Fort Hood is where it all began! We enjoy working with military personnel, civilians, and their dog training needs. Nothing gives you peace of mind while you're at work and knowing your dog is home behaving or being cared for by our trainers. Our trainers are experienced in The Science of Animal Learning Theory, K9 First Aid & CPR, and Animal Behaviors. There is always an outdoors event in the Fort Hood area that we wish to enjoy with our family, and leaving our dogs behind is not an option. This being said, our number one feedback comes as soon as our clients take their well-behaved dogs out to these events. If you would like more information on dog training services, including but not limited to, United K9 Academy's Service Dog Training, Basic - Advanced Obedience training, Board & Train services, and Puppy training services, check out our list of trainers and fill out a contact form.

Jonathan Arwood

Owner/Trainer

I joined the military in early 2015. I had planned to make a career out of the service but life had other plans. In 2017 I was injured in a helicopter accident and later that year was medically retired from the service. It was clear I had to shift fire and find a new purpose.

I have always been keen to work with dogs and have had experience doing so on and off throughout life. In 2018 I discovered this company and jumped at the chance to start working with and training dogs as a profession. I believe our goal as trainers should be to learn and continue to grow and I am constantly traveling the country to go to different training seminars and courses. I currently have my master trainer certificate through our company, as well as certifications from Tarheel Canine for both obedience training and working dog fundamentals. I have worked with hundreds of dogs and breeds and am here to help you and your four legged family member build a better bond.

JEANNETTE NOBLE

Franchise Owner

As a kid I always knew I would end up working with dogs in some way. When I was 11, I was able to get my first puppy. Shadow, he was a bit of a trouble maker and was the first dog I had ever trained. I had a blast teach him the basics, as well as some cute tricks. I started volunteering at a local shelter in the beginning of my teen years to help their dogs learn some manners in hopes to find them new forever homes. During my years volunteer I came across my next dog, Cassie. It was like bringing home a demon. She was the smartest criminal, that need some clear boundaries and behavior work around our other dog. I started as soon as she came home to show my dad, she would become a great dog and could stay in our home, he just has to be patient. With a lot of hard work, she turned into a completely different dog and started me in the route of agility. In 2018 I picked up my 3rd dog, Levi. He Is my current demo dog for United K9 Academy, and is loving every minute of it. He enjoys learning new tasks either doing obstacles or just tricks for mental stimulation. Levi and I are on our way to competing in both obedience and agility trials with AKC. In the beginning of 2019, we went to Tarheel Canine Training to get another certificate in training dogs and behavior modification. Currently I am working on my certificate for canine functional fitness and body awareness. I would love the opportunity to work with you and your pups whether y'all are looking for obedience, building a better bond, or wanting to try a new dog sport.

Meet the Team

DOROTHY JOY CLARK

I've had dogs my whole life and trained every one of them to do the basic commands such sit, down, come, and heel. As I got older, I decided I was going to make a career out of dog training. That decision lead to me enrolling into animal behavior college. The online format allowed me to work at my own pace. I met Craig as my mentor and trainer at ABC and we've been working together ever since. I service the Coppers Cove area.
